This level 2 Diploma in Plant Operations - Erecting and Dismantling has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment, which means the learner needs to be employed to successfully take this pathway.

All learners will be assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with the learner and help the learner complete this qualification.

This Erecting & Dismantling NVQ qualification in Plant Operations enables learners to recognise their skills, knowledge and understanding in mandatory units including:

• Handling and Storing Resources
• Erecting and dismantling plant cranes and rigs
• The slinging and hand signalling of suspended loads
