This course is specifically for learners who have previously passed a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course and hold a valid SMSTS certificate. This course has the aim of bringing up to date knowledge of health and safety and legislative changes when working on-site.
Modules for this course include all that are included in the SMSTS course:
· Legal and management
· Health and welfare
· General safety
· High risk activities
Duration = 2-day, classroom-based (all learners are required to complete the full 15 hours total for their certification).
Examination = the examination will consist of 25 questions, with 18 multiple-choice questions and 7 questions in short multiple-response format (each being worth 2 marks). Learners are required to get a mark of at least 26/32 (81%) to pass the examination.
